Film Rating System is made to assign a age limit for movie and its contents. It helps viewers to choose a suitable films for there age and preferences. Also for a comfortable, enjoyable cinema experience.
These ratings are mentioned as MPA film ratings, which means Movie Picture Association Film Rating. These ratings assigned by them.
International Film Ratings
G - General Audience (All Ages Admitted)
That mean all aged people can watch this content both parents and children.
PG - Parental Guidance Suggested (Some material may not be suitable for children)
Some parents not like there children to watch some content. In that case, Parent should give parental guidance to children.
PG - 13 - Parents Strongly Cautioned (Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13)
This contents are not suitable for children age under 13. Some contents are impropriate for under age 13. Strong parents guidance must.
R - Restricted (Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian)
Contains Adult contents. Parents are strictly watch thoroughly before taking there young children with them.
NC - 17 - Adults Only (No one 17 and under admitted)
Allowed to watch only for Adults. Anyone under 17 age is not allowed to watch these contents even with parents guidance not allowed if they are under 17 years old.
Indian Film Rating System
U - Unrestricted
This content is suitable for all ages. This content contains very mild and acceptable scenes only. Equalant to G or PG.
UA - Unrestricted + Adult Guidance
This content must be watched under parent guidance when the child age is under 12. Equalant to PG-13.
A - Adult Only
These contents are allowed to view only by Adults over 18 or above 18 age. Strictly not stream anywhere before 11PM. Equalant to R or NC-17
S - Specific Audience
These contents are allowed to watch by only specific audience like Doctors for operation video, Soldiers for Army Training or other confidential content stream for particular audience. It is very rare.
